He was born on November 20, 1983.

Early Life

Future was raised in Atlanta, Georgia, and attended Columbia High School (New Jersey). He began using his stage name "The Future" while performing as one of the members of "Dungeon Family" a musical collective.
"Rico Wade" his first cousin, and also a member of the Dungeon Family, encouraged him to pursue a career as a rapper.
Down the line he got signed under a record label "A1 Recordings", by "Rocko" who is also an Atlanta rapper.
He released a series of mixtapes including Dirty Sprite, 1000, and True Story, from 2010 to early 2011. Future gained more popularity after his songs were played at Magic City, a popular strip club in Atlanta by "DJ Esco". Future was also partnering with rapper Gucci Mane on their collaborative album Free Bricks, and co-wrote and featured on YC's single "Racks". While maintaining his deal with Rocko's A1 Recordings, Future also signed a major record label deal with Epic Records.
All this helped him to launch his own label imprint, Freebandz.
Between late 2014 and early 2015, he released a couple of mixtapes to critical praise which includes: "Monster" in 2014, "Beast Mode" in 2015, and "56 Nights" also in 2015.
After which he releases, "DS2", and "What a Time to Be Alive" both in 2015, in collaboration with "Drake", in 2016 he releases "Evol" , before "Future", and "Hndrxx" in 2017, "The Wizrd" in 2019, and "High Off Life" in 2020.
And all his release debuted at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200.
"Future" and "Hndrxx" made him the first artist to debut two albums in consecutive weeks atop of that chart since 2014.
Some of his hit singles include:
"Turn On the Lights", "Move That Dope", "Fuck Up Some Commas", "Where Ya At", "Jumpman", "Low Life", "Mask Off", and "Life Is Good", and "High Off Life", which latter become his highest-charting single.
